Why does Silverado offer various types of Lifestyles?
With all the employment and recreational opportunities in California and Nevada, we build communities offering a variety of lifestyle options to make everyone happy. Whether you're interested in a master plan community with new schools and shopping, a smaller neighborhood, an Age-Qualified community, we have a place that you can call home.
What is an Age-Qualified community?
An Age-Qualified community offers residents a neighborhood that mandates a minimum age requirement for purchase and residency. This type of community may appeal to homeowners who are retired or empty-nesters looking for a like-minded neighborhood.
Are homes available for immediate move-in?
At times, Silverado Homes will have homes available for immediate sale. The number of homes will vary by community, and any features and upgrades may already be selected and installed. Please check with the sales center of the desired community for more information.
What is an elevation?
An elevation is the exterior architecture of the home, as depicted in drawings called renderings. Most of our models each have three different elevations available.
Do I need a Realtor to buy a home?
While you do not need a Realtor to purchase a Silverado home, you may use a Realtor to help you through the homebuying process.
What is the Pathway to Excellence?
Silverado Homes' Pathway to Excellence is a program developed for new homebuyers to feel confident that the quality of your new home is just as important to us as it is to you. We believe that each home we build is a reflection of who we are and the people who will live there. Creating and following the Pathway to Excellence is our way of reaching the goal to become your builder of choice now and into the future.
Do I get to see my home while it's being built?
Following our Pathway to Excellence, you will be able to visit your home during the Pre-Drywall Meeting where you will have the opportunity to view the framework, plumbing, electrical, ventilation, roofing and siding of your new home and review your selected pre-drywall options.
How do I make a warranty claim?
To make a warranty claim, fill out the Warranty Request form found online and in your Homeowner Manual and fax or mail in your non-emergency warranty request. For an after-hours emergency, contact the appropriate contractor directly. The phone number for each contractor is provided in your Homeowner Manual.
How do I know if a repair is covered by my warranty?
At the time of move-in you will receive a Homeowner Manual with information detailing your limited one-year warranty. Claims made for appliances are not covered in the Silverado Homes warranty. Check with appliance manufacturer for specific warranty information.
